Since 2024, the Kunsthaus Langenberg e. V. (Langenberg Art House Association) has offered a continuous sculpture trail through the city, featuring both existing and, in particular, new artworks. The three-kilometer trail winds through the historic old town and adjacent park areas, encompassing more than 25 sculptures and integrating them along its route.

The sculpture trail offers visitors easy access to contemporary art. The city provides a space for art to be displayed without abandoning its own culture and history.

Since July 2025, biennial exhibitions featuring emerging artists have been offered as a complementary program. In their works, these artists explore urban themes, societal changes, and their parameters.

It is possible to explore the sculpture trails from various starting points.
ROUTE 3: For example, start at Stiller Park in Velbert-Langenberg and make your way along Donnerstraße, past the Event Church, to the Alldiekunsthaus, and on to Nathan-Platz. Along this route, you can discover many of the artworks from the 2025-2027 Biennale. As the name suggests, these are installations that change every two years. At Nathan-Platz, in particular, you'll find a selection of artworks by Norbert Bauer, Karl-Heinz Langowski, and Christa Niestrath.

After your tour, take the opportunity to stop in one of Velbert-Langenberg's cozy restaurants and cafes, explore the historic old town, or discover the famous art collection "Grundsteinkisten" in the historic town hall.
