Geographically, we are located on the Mettmann loess terraces within the Bergisch-Sauerland lowlands region. This is a wide, gently undulating, treeless terrace landscape with a thick and fertile layer of loess loam. The route leads us from Homberg through the Schwarzbach valley into the Anger valley. We then return to Homberg via the Homberg stream valley.
