Public transport to the start/destination:
Monheim am Rhein can be reached with the S-Bahn line 6 The train is easily accessible in the direction of Cologne or Düsseldorf/Essen. At the S-Bahn stations in Langenfeld (Rheinland), Langenfeld-Berghausen, or Düsseldorf-Hellerhof, you can transfer to a bus towards Monheim. The buses run regularly and frequently between the S-Bahn stations and the Monheim town center, even late into the evening.
The nearest regional train stations are Düsseldorf-Benrath, which can be reached by... Bus line 788 and 789 and Leverkusen, reachable by Bus line SB23 and the SB33. The regional express lines run here RE 1 and RE 5.
