This stage through the Elfringhausen Switzerland region is challenging, featuring steep climbs and hills. Along the way are two stream valleys that cut deep into the landscape. The Deilbach Valley impresses with its meandering river course and offers numerous photo opportunities. Here, the border between the Rhineland and Westphalia runs. The route then leads into the Felderbach Valley, whose biotope provides habitat for rare animals such as the fire salamander and kingfisher. Characterized by numerous hills with many beautiful views, this stage finally ends at Velbert-Nierenhof train station.
