This year the awards went to the following businesses: Neandertal No. 1 from Erkrath (new award after change of ownership), the canteen of the district administration from Mettmann, Schreibers Kartoffel und Forelle – Hofladen from Ratingen and the beekeeping business Bienchenhonig from Wülfrath.
Neandertal No. 1 offers its guests homemade specialties made from regional ingredients in its café. At the same time, the establishment is a unique event location for a wide variety of events.
The canteen at the Mettmann district administration building is open not only to employees of the district but also to external guests.
