In the permanent exhibition of the Roman Museum, visitors can expect to see numerous archaeological finds from Roman times. Late antique finds such as jewelry, combs, ceramics, tools, weapons and coins were recovered during archaeological excavations and are now presented in a scientifically sound and visually attractive manner. In this way, guests are taken on a journey through time and learn more about the lives of soldiers in the Roman province.
When the weather is nice, the outdoor area also invites you to explore: the archaeological outdoor path, the historic kitchen garden with herbs and vegetables, original preserved remains of the fort's walls and paving that marks the former towers, the bath or the cemetery.
Haus Bürgel is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Lower Germanic Limes. It is also a station of the Monchronik.
