Piwipper Boötchen

Ferry
The  Piwipper Boötchen invites you to a charming crossing over the Rhine on weekends and public holidays during the summer months.
It connects the Piwipp country inn on the left bank of the Rhine in Dormagen with the jetty on the right bank of the Rhine in Monheim am Rhein, not far from the picturesque Marienkapelle. This idyllic means of transport can accommodate up to 25 people and is a special highlight for families and groups as it is easy to take bicycles, strollers and wheelchairs with you.

Nestled in the charming landscape of the Rhineland, the trip on the Piwipper Böötchen not only offers a convenient means of transport, but also a unique experience of discovering the Rhineland landscape from a new perspective. By connecting the two banks, it opens up numerous opportunities to explore and enjoy the local natural and cultural landscape.
