Niederbergisches Museum Wuelfrath

  • museum/exhibition
In its permanent exhibition, the Niederbergisches Museum in Wülfrath conveys the living and working environment in the Niederberg region in the 19th century.
The charming and large collection of lovingly designed furniture, tools and everyday objects gives young and old exciting and transparent insights into the past century. The industrial quarrying methods of the Wülfrath lime industry are also a focal point of the exhibition.

The museum's offer is rounded off by changing special exhibitions as well as a variety of events, readings and guided tours through the various exhibition areas. At the traditional Bergische Kaffeetafel with everything “Dröm on Dran”, hungry people can also enjoy the culinary delights of typical Niederberg specialties, such as fresh coffee from the Dröppelminna and hot waffles.
