Leichlinger Sandberge

Viewpoint/lookout tower
The Leichlinger Sandberge are located on the western edge of the Bergisches Land on the city border between Langenfeld and Leichlingen. They are part of the Bergische Heideterrasse.
This viewpoint is an archaeological monument. As you climb up, you can see the amazing sand formations from the narrow path. Once you reach the top, you can enjoy a fantastic view of Solingen in the east and Cologne Cathedral in the south-west. It's a great place to stop and have a rest.

Attention!!! Danger of falling from the high and unsecured edges!!! Better to stay three steps back and enjoy from there!!!
