The landscape park and the entire Rhine bend can be explored on foot or by bike on one of the many paths of varying lengths behind or on the dyke. In addition to the Rhine cycle path and the city-country-river tour, the Neanderlandas well as the hiking trails A2 and A4 of the Sauerland Mountain Association. There are benches all over the place that invite you to take a rest with a view of the Rhine.
If you do not have your own bicycle or e-bike, you can easily rent one from the Giebner rental station, which also has go-carts and play equipment.
For families with children there is an interactive nature trail from
2,7 kilometers long and a playground with a water playground. Older children and young adults will find a sporting challenge in the skate park next door.
There are plenty of places to sit and sunbathe to relax. A kiosk offers snacks, ice cream and drinks. In the warmer months, Fred's ice cream van is also open. The restaurants and cafés in the nearby old town also offer a wide range of culinary options.
Next to the kiosk and the rental station is the tourist information office. As a special service, you will also find a drinking water station, public toilets, a bicycle pump and a repair station with tools for bicycles here - at the entrance to the landscape park.
