Hilla's reading shed

museum/exhibition
The well-known author Ulla Hahn grew up in Monheim am Rhein. Her former parents' house now houses a municipal literature center for children, young people, and adults. "Hilla's Reading Shed" is located in the garden behind it.

"Hilla's Reading Shed" is a replica of the old wooden shed where the young Ulla Hahn, known as Hilla in her books, discovered her love of words. Literature enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the world of words and literature in "Hilla's Reading Shed." They experience the childhood retreat of the writer Ulla Hahn and, in this compact multimedia experience, can experience how she found her way into writing. An interactive photo album on the desk provides further insights into the author's childhood.
Hilla’s Reading Shed is part of the Monchronik.
