House Bürgel

Historical site
The former Roman fort Haus Bürgel in Monheim am Rhein has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2021. 
Located in the middle of the Urdenbacher Kämpe Rhine meadows, it is home to a Roman museum, a biological station and a horse farm with cold-blooded horses. Haus Bürgel is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Lower Germanic Limes. It is also a station of the Monchronik.

Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m.
Winter break from 01.11. to 28.02.
Guided tours and programs for school classes and children's groups are also available outside of opening hours on request
Closing days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Access to the site is possible 24/7 without admission.
There is an admission fee for visiting the Roman Museum. Members of the NRW Foundation's Friends' Association, holders of the DüsseldorfCard, and holders of the NRW Volunteer Card are admitted free of charge.
