Deilbachtal

The Deilbachtal is an important nature reserve. It extends over around 154 hectares. Originally protected since 2005, the area combines different nature conservation regions that are covered by Wuppertal, Velbert and the Ennepe-Ruhr district. It serves as an important habitat for rare plant and animal species that find ideal conditions in the varied landscape with meadows and streams.
