The Neandertal

Historical site
The Neandertal has been a magnet for travelers for centuries.
The valley became world famous when Neanderthals were found - and despite the limestone quarrying that characterizes the landscape, it is still a picturesque area for hiking. In the Neanderthal Museum, everything to do with the Neanderthal and its Stone Age inhabitants is explained to young and old in a way that is easy to understand. In the Neanderthal World of Adventure you will find not only the world-famous discovery site of the Neanderthal man and the museum built for it, but also pure nature, games, fun, relaxation and culinary delights.
