Biological station in the Bürgel building

  • Historical site
Bürgeler fruit brandies, naturally cloudy apple juice and blossom honey from orchards in Monheim am Rhein.

Haus Bürgel is located in the Urdenbacher Kämpe, a floodplain landscape with a high biodiversity. The naturally cloudy Bürgeler juice is pressed on site from various old apple varieties from the orchards. In addition, apples and pears are distilled into fruit brandies in a contract distillery and bottled. The blossom honey also comes from the meadows of the Urdenbacher Kämpe.
