Old town of Monheim am Rhein

Historical city center
In Monheim's old town you can discover the city's history and also relax in one of the many restaurants.
Monheim am Rhein has a quaint little old town that deserves its name: Numerous restored half-timbered houses and historical sights, such as the Old Town Hall and the Schelmenturm, can be found there. This makes it a wonderful place to discover the town's history while strolling around. City tours with experienced Monguides also start there.
The special atmosphere can also be enjoyed during a cozy break in one of the many cafés, restaurants, pubs or beer gardens - whether outside on the terrace or inside with a different ambience. Events often take place here, such as the wine festival and silent parties.
