Olga Scheps - “Mozart and Chopin”

Olga Scheps comes from a Jewish family of pianists with Ukrainian roots. She was already a fixture in the concert world before she passed her concert exam in 2014. Today, the Cologne resident is celebrated worldwide for her solo recitals, her performances as a soloist with orchestra, and her chamber music projects. Since 2013, Olga has been part of the select group of official "Steinway Artists." She has always enchanted audiences with the music of Mozart and Chopin. Both composers loved the piano and have a lot in common: Chopin lived only four years longer than Mozart, who died at the age of 35. The actual circumstances of both deaths remain unclear. Chopin was buried to the sounds of Mozart. What remains to this day is that both piano compositions are considered to be among the Olympus of classical music.
