Frieda Braun - pause

Pause in speech

Frieda and the women of her splinter group spend seven days in a hostel. And they do so "without a word"! The silent retreat, intended for inner reflection, proves to be a nerve-wracking ordeal for Frieda.

Even the overly healthy breakfast with goat cheese and a mysterious "seed mix" raises eyebrows. When loud stomach noises shatter the silence during the subsequent meditation, any concentration is lost.

Confiscated: Wichbert's driver's license

While their wives remain silent, the husbands, left behind, pursue their hobbies. Wichbert, whose driver's license was revoked after a "two-component driving error," is driven by the desire to bring more mobility into the household. In doing so, he even goes so far as to vandalize the nativity scene.

Erotic: An evening with Viola

Viola uses the erotic film "Fifty Shades of Grey" as an opportunity to surprise Frieda and her unsuspecting friends with a steamy evening. Frieda also approaches the topic of eroticism in her program "Sprechpause" (Speaking Break) with her own delightful mix of curiosity, embarrassment, and indignation.

A delightful look at everyday situations

Big feet and robot vacuum cleaners, men obsessed with renovations and women in the clutches of skilled saleswomen: Frieda's "Sprechpause" is an entertaining and varied journey through (only sometimes exaggerated) everyday situations.
