Holiday workshop: Creative workshop for small flowerpot artworks

In the orchards behind the Cromford textile factory, a green paradise awaits you, full of wildflowers, insects, and dye plants. To take a piece of this home with you, we'll make our own seed bombs from clay, soil, and native wildflower seeds. While they dry, we'll take a nature walk around the museum. You'll discover what dye plants are all about, why wildflowers are so important for insects, and collect natural materials for later decoration. Back at the museum, we'll paint clay pots and decorate them with the materials we've gathered. These flowerpot artworks are perfect for planting the seed bombs or as eco-friendly gift packaging. Of course, you get to take your handmade seed bombs and painted clay pots home with you.

Note: Making seed bombs can get muddy, so wear appropriate clothing.
