The old town of Monheim with interesting stories from then and now
The tour begins at Kradepohl with its Protestant Old Town Church, continues along Grabenstraße to the Schlementurm tower, and then on to the Doll corner, famous for Monheim's Carnival. From there, it proceeds past the Pfannenhof, a historic brewery and inn, and along Turmstraße to the old market square with the former town hall, also known as the "Bermuda Triangle." The route then leads to the Old Customs House, a former customs station on the Rhine, and on to the Catholic Church of St. Gereon and the Franz Böhm Memorial. The Old Town tour concludes here.
