The neanderland STEIG Discovery loop "Organic Farms in the Windrath Valley"  is an ideal destination for exploring the city of Velbert on foot. Afterwards, you can enjoy delicious refreshments with regional and seasonal products in the farm cafés or farm shops on the outskirts. Stages 2-6 of the neanderland STEIGs lead past Velbert and invite hikers of all levels to explore and experience nature. Those who prefer to ride a bike can take the 40 km of the Niederbergbahn Panorama Cycle Path. Numerous restaurants and hotels in Velbert offer the opportunity to stop off and stay overnight, for example the Restaurant Little SwitzerlandStuettgen's Hotel or Best Western Park Hotel.
