This Accessibility Statement applies to the Website www.neanderland.de

Our goal is to provide access to our information and services to everyone, regardless of physical or technical limitations. 

Our website is continuously being adapted step by step to the requirements of the Disability Equality Act North Rhine-Westphalia (BGG NRW) and the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance of North Rhine-Westphalia (BITV NRW) in the currently valid version to ensure barrier-free use.

Status of compatibility
This website is based on the current self-assessment partially barrier-free according to the requirements of BITV 2.0 and the EU Directive 2016/2102We are continuously working to remove the remaining barriers.

Non-accessible content 
The content and functionalities listed below are currently not accessible or only partially accessible.

  • Some of our documents (e.g., information brochures in PDF format) do not currently fully comply with the BITV requirements. Where possible, these will be gradually adapted. A complete BITVHowever, conformity of all documents cannot be guaranteed in every case.
  • External documents created by third parties are not always available to us in accessible format. We have no influence on the accessible design or subsequent processing of this content.
  • Some of the embedded photos do not currently have meaningful alternative text.
  • Some video files do not currently have subtitles and transcriptions.
  • Some content (e.g. map displays) is not yet fully usable with screen readers.
  • Color contrasts and keyboard navigation are not yet consistently optimized on certain subpages.
  • Depending on the contrast value of the image backgrounds, Copyright-Information is sometimes not sufficiently recognizable.
  • The contents of the press archive serve exclusively to document past press releases and events. These are so-called “archive pages” that are published in accordance with Section 4, Paragraph 4 of the BITV NRW are exempt from the obligation to ensure accessibility. This content is no longer actively maintained or updated.
  • We assume no responsibility for compliance with accessibility requirements for the content of external websites and documents referenced within our website (e.g., via links). We have no influence on the design and accessibility of this external content.
  • Content in easy language and German Sign Language is not yet available, but will be added soon.
