The hiking week kicked off on Saturday, April 18th, with a joint opening hike. More than 300 participants, accompanied by District Administrator Dr. Bettina Warnecke, set off in sunny weather on a roughly nine-kilometer tour through the Neander Valley.
From April 19th to 26th, expert guides accompanied groups on selected trails, offering fascinating insights into the landscape, nature, and history of the region. Whether a mindfulness hike, a herb walk, or a nature experience for families: The neanderland WANDERWOCHE offered suitable options for different interests and age groups.
