Historical town centers

As peaceful as it is interesting

Lovingly preserved half-timbered houses with the typical slate roofs and cladding let time stand still and the viewer find peace and quiet. The historic town centers of the region not only have a lot to offer in terms of atmosphere, but also historically. The historic village of Gruiten in Haan is a prime example of Niederberg architecture. You will find the only medieval city center in Ratingen, and of course the other historic city centers also impress with their history, their special features and their very own charm.
